          About Donald Christensen, Illustrator of The Macaroon Moon: 
          After graduating from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Donald became a 
          designer and illustrator of books and magazines for publishers in New York City and 
          Connecticut. As a designer and art director for many years with Weekly Reader, his focus 
          has been on making news and information for children attractive and understandable. As 
          an illustrator, Donald uses a cut paper technique to make clear, strong images to visually 
          appeal to readers of all ages. His illustrations have also been used by Doubleday for its 
          Made Simple book series, by Paulist Press and in Fortune Magazine.
